My approach

As an integrative counsellor, I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone. Each person’s story, background, and needs are unique, and therapy should reflect that individuality. My approach adapts to you, drawing on a range of evidence-based methods to support your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing in a way that feels right for you. 

My approach focuses first and foremost on understanding how you experience the world, so we can begin to build a compassionate set of tools that support a way of living that feel sustainable and aligned for you. The aim is not simply improved symptom management, but deeper self-understanding and meaningful lasting change.

At the heart of my work is a relational and compassionate approach. I recognise that many people’s needs don’t fit neatly into “just therapy” or “just coaching”. Needs can shift naturally over time, with some sessions focusing on emotional exploration and others on practical change. For those seeking a more holistic approach to their health and wellbeing, nutritional support can also be thoughtfully integrated.

Many people choose to work with me after trying other approaches that didn’t feel quite right for them. I understand how tiring it can be to repeat your story to multiple practitioners, each focusing on only one part of the picture. When care is divided in this way, important connections can be missed. Drawing on my varied professional and personal experiences, I am able to hold the emotional, mental and physical aspects of your story together. This integrated way of working can help challenges feel less overwhelming, while supporting a greater sense of agency in how you live your life.
