ADHD Coaching

You may have heard the quote, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” Coaching can be especially helpful if you’re feeling stuck, navigating a life transition, or wanting to create positive habits and see real change in your life.

As a counsellor trained in coaching, I provide a unique approach that blends emotional insight with practical action.

Together, we’ll explore your current situation, identify ways to move forward, and focus on your strengths and values, helping you gain clarity, build confidence, and create a clear sense of direction in your life.

Some people who have experienced regular counselling gain insight into their patterns and challenges, but still feel stuck when it comes to taking practical steps toward change. My integrative approach is designed to bridge that gap, turning understanding into action, so it’s ideal for those who want both insight into their patterns and practical strategies for making meaningful change.

In some cases, I may draw on principles of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to support transformation. NLP techniques help identify and shift limiting beliefs and thought patterns, strengthen communication and align your mindset with the outcomes you want to achieve.

While some people choose stand-alone coaching, it can also be a powerful complement to your counselling journey, providing structure, support, and accountability. Accountability bridges the gap between understanding your patterns and actually making change, without pressure or judgment. It’s the difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it. Think of coaching as having a supportive partner in your journey, helping you feel encouraged, more confident in your abilities and less overwhelmed.

Living with ADHD can bring a unique set of experiences, from challenges with focus, organisation and time management to emotional regulation, motivation and self-esteem. It’s also common to experience comorbidities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia or dyspraxia, which can add extra layers of difficulty to daily life that others may not always see or understand.

While medication can help reduce ADHD symptoms, it can’t teach the skills or strategies needed to navigate them. Pairing medication with psychological support could help you make sense of your experiences, build practical strategies that genuinely work for you and strengthen your confidence in navigating everyday life.
